Cannes is a small city that changes shape several times a year. In February it is quiet. In May, during the Film Festival, the Croisette in front of the Palais is filtered, side streets are blocked and a 2 km drive can take 30 minutes. Our chauffeurs work here through all of it, so they know where a car can stop and when it is faster to walk the last 200 m.

You get a Mercedes, an English and French speaking chauffeur, and a fixed price that already includes fuel, tolls, parking and bottled water. Use it for a single transfer, a few hours, or a full day at your disposal. The formats are explained on our private driver French Riviera page.

Croisette hotels and the Palais des Festivals

The Carlton, the Martinez and the Majestic all have a forecourt where the chauffeur can stop and load bags, which matters with seven suitcases. The Majestic stands almost opposite the Palais des Festivals, the Martinez is further east towards Pointe Croisette. Between meetings, the chauffeur waits in a nearby car park and comes back when you call. For Le Suquet, the old quarter on the hill, the lanes are narrow and steep: we drop you at the foot, near the Forville market, and pick you up at the same spot.

Arriving in Cannes: Nice airport, Cannes-Mandelieu or the station

Most visitors land at Nice Côte d’Azur, 27 km away. Our Nice airport transfer includes flight tracking, a name sign in arrivals and waiting time. Private jets often use Cannes-Mandelieu, a business aviation airport about 8 km west of the Croisette, which keeps you off the A8 during festival weeks. If you come by TGV, the chauffeur meets you at Cannes station on Rue Jean Jaurès, a few minutes’ drive from the seafront.

Mougins and Grasse make an easy half-day: lunch in the old village of Mougins, then a perfume house in Grasse. The old village of Mougins is best explored on foot, so the chauffeur drops you at its entrance and parks nearby. The Lérins islands are a boat trip, not a drive: boats to Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat leave from Quai Laubeuf in the Old Port, about 15 to 20 minutes each way. We drop you at the ticket booths and wait for the return boat you choose.

Which vehicle in Cannes

The E-Class takes up to 3 passengers and works for a business traveller between hotel and Palais. The Mercedes V-Class chauffeur is a good default in Cannes: 7 seats, room for luggage and display material, and a sliding door that makes quick stops on the Croisette easier. The Sprinter carries up to 19 people for a team dinner in the hills or a wedding at a villa near Mougins.
