Data we collect and why

When you send a quote request we receive your name, email, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, date, time, number of passengers and suitcases, preferred vehicle and your message. We use this data only to prepare the quote, organise the trip and contact you about it.

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not sell or rent your data and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a booking are kept for three years after the last contact. Data linked to a completed trip is kept for the duration of the business relationship, then archived for the periods required by accounting law (ten years for invoices).

Third party services

  • Hostinger (website and email hosting): requests are delivered and stored as emails on its servers.
  • Google Maps Platform: address autocomplete and route calculation in the form send the addresses you type to Google.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that the form is sent by a person and not a bot.
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: audience measurement, loaded only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Google Ads: advertising conversion measurement, only if you accept advertising cookies.
  • WhatsApp: if you click the WhatsApp button, the conversation is governed by WhatsApp (Meta) terms.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union under the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for six months. Without your consent no measurement tool is loaded. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (prefix _ga) and Google Ads sets its own advertising cookies, for up to thirteen months. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. Write to contact@mygroupdriver.com and we will answer within one month. If you think your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
