The Mercedes E-Class is our sedan for small parties. It carries up to 3 passengers with about 3 suitcases, driven by a professional chauffeur who speaks English and French. Fuel, tolls, airport parking and bottled water are included in a fixed price agreed before your trip.
Clients choose it when they want discretion rather than space. A sedan pulls into a hotel forecourt on the Croisette or a narrow villa driveway in Cap-Ferrat without fuss, and it does not draw attention in front of a client’s office.
When the E-Class is the right choice
Airport runs. Most of our E-Class bookings start or end at Nice Côte d’Azur airport. Your chauffeur meets you in arrivals, tracks the flight and drives you to your hotel. For travellers landing by private jet, we also pick up at Cannes-Mandelieu, the business aviation airport about 10 to 15 minutes from the Croisette. Business meetings. A day of appointments between Monaco, Nice and Sophia Antipolis is easier with a chauffeur at your disposal. The technology park is about 25 minutes from the airport outside rush hour, but the A8 and the Antibes exit slow down badly between 8 and 9:30 am. Your driver knows when to leave. Couples and evenings out. Dinner in Èze, a night at the Casino de Monte-Carlo, a gala in Cannes. You do not drive, you do not look for parking, and the chauffeur is waiting at the door when you leave.
Luggage: when to upgrade to the V-Class
The E-Class boot takes about 3 standard checked suitcases. That is enough for 3 passengers with one case each and a couple of cabin bags.
It is not enough for:
- a golf bag on top of the suitcases;
- skis or snowboard bags;
- a stroller plus a family’s luggage;
- 2 large cases per person, which is common for a two-week summer stay.
In those cases, book the Mercedes V-Class. Our honest advice: a couple with 4 large cases will be more comfortable in a V-Class than in a sedan with bags on the back seat.
Comfort on board
The E-Class has leather seats, climate control and generous rear legroom, which matters on the drive from Nice airport to Saint-Tropez (1 h 30 to 2 h 15 depending on traffic). Bottled water and phone chargers are always on board, and most of our vehicles have Wi-Fi. Child seats are available on request and fitted before pickup.
Every car is cleaned before each ride. The chauffeur opens the door, handles your luggage and adapts the temperature and the route to what you ask.

How many suitcases fit in the E-Class?
About 3 standard checked suitcases, plus small cabin bags or a laptop case. That works for 3 passengers with one case each. If you add a golf bag, skis, a stroller or extra large cases, book the V-Class instead: forcing luggage onto the back seat is uncomfortable and not safe.
Can 4 people travel in a Mercedes E-Class?
No. We take a maximum of 3 passengers in the E-Class so that everyone has a proper seat and the chauffeur keeps a clear front cabin. For 4 to 7 people, the Mercedes V-Class is the right vehicle and usually avoids booking two sedans for the same trip.
Is the E-Class available by the hour?
Yes. You can book it for a transfer from A to B or with the chauffeur at your disposal for several hours or a full day. The chauffeur waits between appointments and adjusts to changes in your schedule. The price is fixed in advance for the time and route you request.
Can the chauffeur meet me at Nice airport with the E-Class?
Yes. Your chauffeur tracks your flight, waits in the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 with a name sign and helps with your luggage. Airport parking and waiting time are included, so a delayed landing does not change the price agreed in your quote.
