MIPIM 2027 in Cannes: what changes for transport
MIPIM returns to Cannes from 16 to 19 March 2027. The heart of the show stays the Palais des Festivals on the Croisette. The 2027 edition also spreads into other venues in town, so a day is no longer only “hotel to Palais and back”.
According to the organiser, new destinations include the Tech and AI Hub at the Gray d’Albion Hotel and Luxury Living and Branded Residences at the Palais Stéphanie Beach (JW Marriott). Housing Matters! opens the programme on the morning of Tuesday 16 March. That means more cross-town runs, more timed drops, and more evenings that finish after the free shuttle schedule.
Recent editions drew on the order of 20,000+ participants and thousands of investors. Hotels in Cannes fill early. Many delegates sleep in Nice, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Mandelieu or Monaco and commute every day.
Nice airport to your MIPIM hotel
Almost everyone lands at Nice Côte d’Azur (NCE). We meet you in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 arrivals with a name sign, track the flight, and drive to your hotel or straight to a first meeting near the Palais. On the Monday before opening, a delayed morning arrival from London or Frankfurt often hits the A8 when Cannes is already jammed: we hold the car and push the hotel drop rather than leave you at the taxi rank.

The organiser also lists AirportXpress bus line 81 from NCE to Cannes station (roughly every 30 minutes by day). That ends at the station, not at your hotel door and not at a satellite venue with luggage. Official taxis meet at T1 gate A1 and T2 gate A3; during Monday arrivals the rank queue is long.
Palais, Gray d’Albion, JW Marriott: multi-venue days
A typical investor day in 2027 may look like this: breakfast meeting at a Croisette hotel, morning sessions at the Palais, afternoon at the Gray d’Albion hub, evening dinner near the JW Marriott beach. Walking between those points with a laptop bag and a coat is fine once. Doing it four times in the rain with a colleague who has a later flight is not.

Are the free MIPIM hotel shuttles enough?
MIPIM runs a free shuttle from hotels outside Cannes to the Palais. It suits a simple hotel-to-Palais commute on published times. A private chauffeur is clearer for Nice airport with luggage, multi-venue days (Palais, Gray d'Albion, JW Marriott), late dinners on the Croisette, or a car that waits between meetings.
When should we book a MIPIM chauffeur?
As soon as your passes and hotel are confirmed, ideally six to eight weeks ahead, and earlier for a dedicated car all week. Vehicles for 16 to 19 March go early. January and February bookings still leave a choice of E-Class, V-Class or Sprinter.
