Mercedes V-Class chauffeur: black V-Class van on a runway at dusk

Mercedes V-Class chauffeur for families and small groups

A spacious Mercedes van with a professional chauffeur for up to 7 passengers and about 7 suitcases. The vehicle we send most often from Nice airport.

A Mercedes van for up to 7 passengers

The Mercedes V-Class is the workhorse of our fleet. It carries up to 7 passengers and about 7 standard suitcases, with a professional chauffeur, fuel, tolls, airport parking and bottled water included in a fixed price.

It is the vehicle we recommend from 4 passengers, and often for 2 or 3 when the luggage is serious. Sliding side doors make getting in and out easy, even on the narrow streets of Old Nice or Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Families with children and luggage

A family of 5 landing at Nice Côte d’Azur airport typically arrives with 5 suitcases, cabin bags and a stroller. In a V-Class, all of that goes in the back and everyone sits in a proper seat. Child seats are available on request and fitted before your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall.

Your chauffeur tracks the flight, waits with a name sign and loads the bags. You can find meeting points and drive times on our Nice airport transfer page.

Golf bags, skis and strollers

The V-Class is our standard answer for sports equipment. As a rule of thumb, it takes 4 golfers with their golf bags and suitcases. That works well for the courses around Mougins, such as the Royal Mougins Golf Club and the Golf de Cannes-Mougins, or Terre Blanche in Tourrettes, about an hour from Nice airport.

In winter, the same logic applies to skis. Isola 2000 is around 90 km from Nice airport, about 1 h 30 to 1 h 45 by road depending on conditions in the Tinée valley. Five skiers with boots and ski bags travel more comfortably in one V-Class than in two sedans.

Above that, with 6 or 7 people and full sports equipment, the hold reaches its limit. We then add a second vehicle or switch to the Mercedes Sprinter.

Face-to-face seating for meetings

The rear seats of the V-Class face each other in a lounge layout. For a team of 4 it works like a small meeting room: you can talk, review a presentation or prepare a client visit between Nice, Monaco and Sophia Antipolis. Most of our vehicles have Wi-Fi, and phone chargers are always on board. Tell us when you book if the connection matters for your trip.

Events and small groups

For weddings, galas and congresses, the V-Class often works alongside a Sprinter: the minibus moves the main group while the van handles the family of the bride, the speakers or late arrivals. Several V-Class vans can also run in rotation between hotels and a venue. See how we organise it on our group transportation on the French Riviera page.

Comfort on board

Leather seats, climate control and generous headroom make the V-Class comfortable on longer drives, such as Nice airport to Saint-Tropez. Each vehicle is cleaned before every ride. Your chauffeur speaks English and French and adapts the route to traffic and to your stops.

To book, send your date, route, number of passengers and luggage through the quote form. We reply with a fixed price for the whole vehicle.

Frequently asked questions

How many passengers and suitcases fit in a Mercedes V-Class?

Up to 7 passengers and about 7 standard checked suitcases, one per person. With fewer passengers you gain room for bulky items such as golf bags, skis or a stroller. If 7 people each travel with a large case and sports equipment, add a second vehicle or move up to the Sprinter.

Can we fit golf bags in the V-Class?

Yes. A typical setup is 4 golfers with 4 golf bags and 4 suitcases, which fits comfortably. With 6 or 7 golfers and their luggage, the hold is too small, so we suggest a second vehicle or the Sprinter. Tell us the number of bags when you request your quote.

Is the V-Class suitable for a business meeting on the road?

Yes. The rear seats of the V-Class face each other, so 4 people can talk and review documents during the drive. Teams often use it between Nice, Monaco and Sophia Antipolis, or to visit several sites in one day with the chauffeur waiting at each stop.

Do you provide child seats in the V-Class?

Yes, on request and free of charge. Give us the age or weight of each child and we fit the right baby seat, toddler seat or booster before pickup. The sliding side doors make it easy to install a child without blocking the pavement or the traffic.

Is a V-Class cheaper than two sedans?

For 4 to 7 passengers, one V-Class is usually more economical than two E-Class sedans, because you pay for one vehicle and one chauffeur. It also keeps the group together, which avoids two cars arriving at different times. We quote a fixed price for the vehicle, not per person.
