Nice airport transfer: chauffeur in a suit holding a My Group Driver sign in the arrivals hall

Nice airport transfer with a private chauffeur

Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 with your name on a sign, then drives you straight to your hotel, villa or meeting. One fixed price, agreed before you fly.

What your Nice airport transfer includes

A Nice airport transfer with My Group Driver is a private Mercedes booked in advance, from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 of Nice Côte d’Azur airport directly to your address. No other passengers, no stops you did not ask for. The fixed price covers the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, tolls, airport parking and bottled water. Meet and greet in arrivals, flight tracking and waiting time are part of the service, not extras.

It works the other way too. For your departure we collect you at your hotel or villa and drop you at the right terminal with time to spare. Most clients request both legs at once.

Terminal 1 or Terminal 2: where your chauffeur waits

Your airline decides the terminal, and your flight number tells us which one. Send it with your request and we take care of the rest, including a terminal change on the day.

At both terminals your chauffeur stands in the arrivals hall, right after baggage claim and customs, holding a sign with your name. Stay inside the hall. You do not need to find the taxi rank (door A1 at Terminal 1, door A3 at Terminal 2) or walk to a car park. The chauffeur takes your bags and walks you to the car.

Part of your group landing at the other terminal? The two are linked by a free tram in about 3 minutes, so one person can join the other. For larger groups we simply send a vehicle to each terminal. Flying private? We meet you at the business aviation terminal instead.

Flight tracking and waiting time

We follow your flight from take-off. If it lands 40 minutes early or 2 hours late, the chauffeur adjusts to the real landing time and the price does not move. You do not need to message us from the plane.

Waiting time after landing is included to cover passport control and the luggage belt. Plan for longer if you arrive from outside the Schengen area (London, New York, Dubai), because you queue at border control. Lost bag and a queue at the baggage desk? Send a WhatsApp message and your chauffeur waits.

Journey times from Nice airport

Destination Distance Usual drive time
Nice city centre 7 km 15 to 25 min
Antibes 20 km 25 to 35 min
Èze village 22 km 30 to 40 min
Cannes 27 km 30 to 45 min
Monaco 30 km 30 to 45 min
Menton 40 km 45 to 60 min
Saint-Tropez 105 km 1 h 30 to 2 h 15

These are door-to-door times outside rush hour. Add margin on weekday mornings around 8am, in July and August, and during the Cannes Film Festival in May and the Monaco Grand Prix.

Nice centre. The airport sits at the western end of the Promenade des Anglais, so hotels on the seafront are 15 minutes away. Most lanes of Old Nice are pedestrian: we stop at the closest street with car access and carry your bags from there. For hourly bookings in town, see our private chauffeur in Nice.

Monaco. We usually take the A8 and drop into the Principality by the tunnel, or follow the coast road when the motorway is jammed. Your chauffeur knows the one-way loops of Monte-Carlo and takes you to the hotel door. Staying a few days? Our chauffeur service in Monaco covers dinners, meetings and the Casino.

Cannes and Antibes. West on the A8, then down to the Croisette or to Port Vauban in Antibes. During the Film Festival, parts of the Croisette close to traffic, and we plan the drop-off point with your hotel.

Èze and Menton. Èze village is pedestrian, so we leave you at the foot of the old village, on the Moyenne Corniche. Menton is the last French town before Italy, about 45 minutes away by motorway.

Saint-Tropez. The longest run, with real summer traffic at the end. Everything is on our Saint-Tropez airport transfer page.

Private transfer, taxi or shared shuttle

All three options leave from the arrivals level. They do not suit the same trips.

Private transfer Airport taxi Bus, tram or shared shuttle
Price Fixed, agreed before you travel Official flat rate or meter Lowest per person
Meeting point Arrivals hall, name sign Taxi rank, door A1 or A3 Stop outside the terminal
Flight delay Chauffeur adjusts You queue on arrival Next departure
Group and luggage Up to 19 in one Sprinter About 4 passengers You carry your bags
Route Direct to your door Direct Fixed stops

Tram line 2 reaches central Nice in under 30 minutes, and buses 80, 81 and 82 run to Monaco and Menton, Cannes and Antibes. Good options for one traveller with a cabin bag. A taxi works well for two people heading into Nice. For families, groups, heavy luggage, a late arrival or anything beyond Nice, a pre-booked chauffeur saves the queue and keeps everyone in one vehicle.

Which vehicle for your group

  • Mercedes E-Class: up to 3 passengers and about 3 suitcases. Business travellers and couples.
  • Mercedes V-Class: up to 7 passengers and about 7 suitcases. Families, golf bags, pushchairs. See the Mercedes V-Class with chauffeur.
  • Mercedes Sprinter: up to 19 passengers with leather VIP seats, for teams and wedding guests.

A tip from experience: 4 adults with 4 large suitcases will not fit in a saloon boot. Take the V-Class. Corporate travellers who need a car on standby after landing can book our business chauffeur service.

How to request a quote

Send us your flight number, date and landing time, the destination address, the number of passengers and suitcases, and anything bulky such as skis, golf bags or a pushchair. Use the quote form, WhatsApp or a phone call on +33 6 71 14 21 05.

We reply with a fixed price, usually within the hour. Nothing is paid online. Once you accept, we confirm the booking and you pay by card or bank transfer, or by invoice for companies. Your confirmation includes your chauffeur’s contact details.

Frequently asked questions

Where will my chauffeur meet me at Nice airport?

Inside the arrivals hall of your terminal, just after baggage claim and customs, holding a sign with your name. This is the same at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Stay in the hall: the chauffeur comes to you, takes your luggage and walks you to the car parked a few minutes away.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Nothing changes for you. We track your flight from departure and the chauffeur adjusts to the real landing time, even if you land early or two hours late. The price stays the one we agreed. If your flight is cancelled or diverted, send us a message and we rearrange the pickup with you.

How long does the transfer from Nice airport to Monaco take?

Monaco is about 30 km from Nice Côte d'Azur airport. Outside rush hour the drive takes 30 to 45 minutes by the A8 motorway. On weekday evenings, in July and August or during the Monaco Grand Prix, allow more time. Your chauffeur picks the motorway or the coast road depending on traffic that day.

Is a private transfer more expensive than a taxi from Nice airport?

It depends on the destination and the group size. Official taxis use flat rates or the meter, and a standard taxi takes about 4 passengers. Our price is fixed in advance for the whole vehicle, so for families, groups with luggage or longer trips to Monaco, Cannes or Saint-Tropez the gap is often small. Ask for a quote to compare.

Can you pick me up at Nice airport late at night?

Yes. We work 24/7, including flights landing after midnight when public transport is limited and the taxi queue can be long. Give us your flight number when you request your quote and the chauffeur will be in the arrivals hall whatever time you land, with the same fixed price.
