Event transportation French Riviera: quilted leather VIP seats inside our Mercedes Sprinter

Event transportation on the French Riviera

Chauffeurs, vans and VIP minibuses for trade fairs, festivals, seminars and weddings between Monaco and Cannes. One vehicle plan, one contact and one fixed quote for the whole event.

The Riviera event calendar, month by month

The same weeks fill up every year: hotels, restaurants and chauffeurs. These are the dates we plan our fleet around.

Month Event Where
February Nice Carnival Place Masséna, Nice
February to March Lemon Festival (Fête du Citron) Menton
March MIPIM, international property market Palais des Festivals, Cannes
April Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, tennis Monte-Carlo Country Club, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin
May Cannes Film Festival Palais des Festivals, Cannes
Late May or early June Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix Monaco street circuit
June Cannes Lions, festival of creativity Palais des Festivals, Cannes
July Jazz à Juan Pinède Gould, Juan-les-Pins
September Cannes Yachting Festival Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto, Cannes
September Monaco Yacht Show Port Hercule, Monaco
October MIPCOM, TV and content market Palais des Festivals, Cannes

Two of these weeks change the way the coast works, with road closures and sold-out hotels. They have their own pages: our Cannes Film Festival chauffeur service and our Monaco Grand Prix chauffeur service.

MIPIM and the Cannes trade fairs

MIPIM fills the Palais des Festivals with property investors, developers and city delegations every March. Cannes Lions follows in June and MIPCOM in October, with the same venue and the same problem. Cannes hotels are full or very expensive, so many delegates sleep in Nice, Antibes or Monaco and commute.

What works best is a chauffeur at your disposal by the day. The car picks you up at 8am, waits during the sessions, takes you to lunch on a Croisette beach or a meeting on a yacht in the Vieux Port, then drives you home after the evening dinner. For a team of 4 to 7, one V-Class is simpler than two sedans and keeps everyone in the same conversation.

Corporate events, seminars and incentives

Seminars in Sophia Antipolis, product launches in Monaco, incentive trips with a lunch in Èze or an afternoon in Saint-Paul-de-Vence. The transport problem is always the same: many people, a fixed timetable and no room for a missing guest.

We build the plan around your programme. Sprinters run the main transfers, V-Class vans handle the smaller groups and the VIPs, and an E-Class can stay on standby for the speaker who has to leave early. Companies receive one invoice for the whole event.

Weddings in villas, Grasse and Saint-Paul-de-Vence

Riviera weddings have a typical pattern. Guests fly in from several countries, stay in three or four different hotels, and the ceremony takes place in a villa or an estate up a narrow road in the hills around Grasse or Saint-Paul-de-Vence.

We run shuttles from each hotel to the venue, keep a V-Class for the couple and their families, and schedule return loops in the evening, for instance at midnight and 2am, so guests can leave when they want. Every access road is checked in advance.

How we plan a multi-vehicle shuttle

  1. You send the programme: dates, venues, timings, number of guests and luggage, flight numbers if there are airport arrivals.
  2. We propose a vehicle plan: which vehicles, how many rotations, where each one waits.
  3. Each chauffeur receives a run sheet with passenger names, pickup points and phone numbers.
  4. One coordinator follows the day and stays reachable by phone and WhatsApp for any change.

The details of vehicle choice by group size are on our group transportation page.

Booking lead times

For the Film Festival and the Grand Prix, book three to six months ahead. Production companies and hospitality agencies reserve vehicles for the full fortnight as early as the winter. For the trade fairs and the Yacht Show, two to three months is usually enough. For a seminar outside the busy season, two to four weeks often works, but the earlier we know, the more vehicles we can keep free for you.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book transport for a Riviera event?

For the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix, book three to six months ahead, ideally during the winter. For MIPIM, Cannes Lions, MIPCOM or the Monaco Yacht Show, two to three months is usually enough. Summer weddings should be booked as soon as the date and venue are fixed.

Can you move a group of more than 19 people?

Yes. The Sprinter seats 19 passengers, and for larger groups we combine several vehicles, for example two Sprinters or a Sprinter and a V-Class. Every chauffeur receives the same run sheet and passenger list, and you keep a single contact person for the whole operation.

Do you provide a chauffeur for the whole duration of an event?

Yes. Most event clients book a chauffeur at their disposal by the day or for the full week. The same driver and vehicle stay with you from the morning transfer to the last dinner, so you never have to look for a taxi when the Croisette or Monaco is closed to traffic.

Is the price fixed for a multi-day event?

Yes. Send us the programme, the number of guests and the timings. We reply with a fixed quote that covers the vehicles, the chauffeurs, fuel, tolls and parking. If the programme changes, we update the quote before the event, never after it. Companies can pay by bank transfer on invoice.

Can your vehicles reach wedding venues in the hills?

Mostly, yes. We check the access road of every villa or estate before the day. Some lanes above Grasse or around Saint-Paul-de-Vence are too narrow for a Sprinter, so we park it at the nearest safe point and run the last stretch with a V-Class, or use V-Class vans only.
