Our Sprinters are configured for 19 passengers, not a 15-seat cut-down layout. If you need space for large suitcases as well as a full cabin, say so early: luggage often decides whether a second vehicle follows.
When a minibus beats several taxis or vans
From about 8 people, one minibus is usually simpler than splitting the group. Twelve people landing at Terminal 2 means three or four taxis, arrivals minutes apart, and several payments. One Sprinter means one meeting point, one driver, one invoice.
If the group splits between hotels in Nice, Cannes and Monaco, two smaller vehicles in parallel often beat one Sprinter doing the loop.
What to check before you book
Seats and passenger count
Count everyone: children, babies, the tour leader, the photographer. Every passenger needs a seat and a seatbelt. Give us ages for child seats before pickup.
Luggage
On airport runs, luggage is the real limit, not seats. The Sprinter takes about 12 standard suitcases; nineteen people each with a large case fill it quickly. Sometimes a V-Class follows with the bags.
Driver hours
A vehicle with more than 9 seats including the driver falls under EU driving time rules (Regulation 561/2006), recorded by a tachograph. The driver must take a 45 min break after 4 h 30 of driving, cannot drive more than 9 h in a day (10 h twice a week) and needs a daily rest of at least 11 h (reducible to 9 h within limits).
An 8:00 airport pickup followed by an event that ends at 2:00 is too long for one driver. We plan a second driver or a handover in the quote from the start.
Licences
In France, a minibus with more than 9 seats including the driver is not a VTC. It is road passenger transport: the operator must be registered and the driver needs a bus licence (D1 or D).
Tolls, parking and extras
Trips from Nice to Cannes or Monaco often use the A8. Our quotes include fuel, tolls and airport parking. Ask what happens if the day runs past the planned end time.

Old Nice is largely pedestrian: groups drop near the Opéra and the Cours Saleya. Saint-Paul-de-Vence and Èze are walking villages. In Monaco, groups usually set down at the Chemin des Pêcheurs car park.

How many people fit in a minibus with driver in Nice?

Is a 15-seater or 16-seater available in Nice?

Yes, if you book the minibus by the hour (a disposal) rather than as a single transfer. The driver drops you at the village entrance or car park, waits nearby and picks you up at the agreed time. Tell us how long you plan to stay at each stop so we can build a realistic schedule.
How far ahead should we book minibus hire in Nice?
For May events such as the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix, and for busy summer Saturdays, book three months ahead or more. For other dates, two to four weeks is usually enough. Last minute requests are possible but depend on which vehicles and drivers are free that day.
Can we rent the minibus without a driver?
